GROUP CLASS TYPES
FOUNDATIONS GROUP CLASS
This class focuses on the basic steps and techniques of one or two dances each class. The dance styles rotate through our eight core dances:
BRONZE & SILVER CLASSES
These classes focus on Bronze and Silver level steps and techniques in one or two dances per week. The dances rotate weekly across our main genres:
Each week, the class will focus on one specific genre, and may include any of the 16 Bronze and Silver level dances.
If you’re interested in attending Bronze or higher-level classes, please chat with your instructor to plan your progression.
SHOWCASE/GALA CLASSES
In the leadup to Showcase and Gala, some Bronze/Silver classes will temporarily transition into "Showcase" or "Gala" classes. These class timeslots will teach/practice a routine of 1 group dance that can be performed at either Mid-Year Showcase or the End-of-Year Gala Ball.
CLASS ATTENDANCE PREREQUISITES

- Salsa & Bachata (Street Latin)
- Bolero & Forró (Brazilian Latin)
- Rumba & Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom Latin)
- Box Waltz & Social Foxtrot (Social Ballroom)
BRONZE & SILVER CLASSES
These classes focus on Bronze and Silver level steps and techniques in one or two dances per week. The dances rotate weekly across our main genres:
- Street Latin (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue & Kizomba)
- Brazilian Latin (Bolero, Forró, Samba de Gafieira & Zouk)
- Ballroom Latin (Rumba, Cha Cha, Ballroom Samba & Jive)
- Social/Modern Ballroom (Modern Waltz, English Tango, Quickstep & Slow Foxtrot)
Each week, the class will focus on one specific genre, and may include any of the 16 Bronze and Silver level dances.

- Foundation Class: No experience necessary
- Bronze Class: Completion of Crystal Elite level in the relevant genre
- Bronze/Pre-Silver Class: Completion of the Bronze 1 level, or suitable experience at Bronze level
- Silver Medallist Class: Completion of a Bronze 2 medal in the relevant genre, or suitable experience at Bronze 2/3 level
- Showcase Class: Prior regular enrolment in the designated class timeslot, or participation via invitation or request
